Privacy Policy
The short version
- Credli stores the information you enter to track your own credentials and continuing education — your account details, your licenses and certifications, your CE records, and any certificate photos you upload.
- We use that information for one purpose: running Credli for you. We do not sell your data, we do not show ads, and we do not use third-party advertising or analytics trackers.
- Payments for Credli Pro are handled entirely by Apple or Google. We never see or store your card details.
- You can permanently delete your account and all of your data yourself, from inside the app, at any time.
This summary is here for convenience. The full policy below is what applies.
1.Who we are
Credli is a credential and continuing-education tracking service for healthcare professionals, operated by Credli LLC, a New Jersey limited liability company ("Credli," "we," "us"). This policy covers the Credli mobile app and our website, credliapp.com.
Questions about this policy or your data: hello@credliapp.com
2.Information you give us
Account information
When you create an account we collect your name, email address, password (stored only in protected, scrambled form by our authentication provider — we cannot read it), and your profession.
Credential and license information
Information you enter about your own professional credentials: credential and license types, the state or issuing body, license or certificate numbers if you choose to add them, and issue, expiration, and renewal dates.
Continuing-education records
The CE activity you log: course or activity names, providers, hours, completion dates, topics, and any notes you add.
Documents you upload
Certificate photos or files you choose to attach to your records. These are stored in your account so you can keep proof of completion in one place.
Website waitlist
If you join the waitlist on credliapp.com, we collect your email address to send you Credli updates. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.
3.Information collected automatically
Like nearly every online service, the infrastructure that runs Credli keeps basic technical logs: things like IP address, device and operating-system type, timestamps, and error reports. We use these only to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service.
What we do not do: the Credli app and website do not use third-party advertising trackers or third-party analytics tools, and we do not set advertising cookies. If that ever changes, we will update this policy first and tell you.
4.How we use your information
- To run Credli for you — storing your credentials and CE records, calculating your progress against published requirements, and showing your compliance status.
- To send reminders you turn on — such as renewal-date and requirement reminders, delivered by email or device notification.
- To communicate with you — account-related messages, responses to your support requests, and, if you joined the waitlist, product updates you can unsubscribe from at any time.
- To keep the service safe — preventing abuse, debugging problems, and protecting accounts.
- To meet legal obligations — when the law genuinely requires it.
5.Who we share information with
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers. Your information is shared only with the small set of service providers we rely on to run Credli, and only so they can do that work for us:
- Supabase — our database, sign-in system, and encrypted file storage. This is where your account, records, and uploaded certificates live.
- Netlify — hosts the credliapp.com website.
- Mailchimp — sends waitlist and welcome emails.
- Apple App Store and Google Play — distribute the app and process Credli Pro payments. Your payment details go directly to Apple or Google; we receive only your subscription status, never your card information.
Beyond service providers, we would disclose information only if the law requires it, to protect the rights and safety of our users or the service, or — if Credli is ever acquired or merged — to a successor who must honor this policy. We will always share the minimum necessary.
6.Your credential data is not patient data
Credli stores information about your own professional credentials and continuing education. We do not collect, store, or process patient health records, and Credli is not a healthcare provider or a HIPAA covered entity. Please do not enter patient information anywhere in Credli.
7.How long we keep it — and how you delete it
We keep your information for as long as your account is open, so your credential history is there when you need it.
You can delete your account yourself, at any time, from inside the app. Deleting your account permanently erases your account and all of your data — your credentials, CE records, reminders, and uploaded documents — from our active systems immediately. Residual copies in our provider's encrypted backups are purged automatically on a rolling basis within approximately 30 days. Account deletion cannot be undone.
If you are on the waitlist only, use the unsubscribe link in any email, or write to us, and we will remove you.
8.How we protect it
- Your data is encrypted in transit and encrypted at rest.
- Each account's records are isolated at the database level, so your data is only ever returned to you.
- Administrative keys that could access data are kept server-side only — never in the app on your phone.
No online service can honestly promise perfect security, and we will not pretend otherwise. If a breach ever affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by law and tell you plainly what happened.
9.Your choices and rights
- Access and correction — you can view and edit your information directly in the app.
- Deletion — use Delete Account in the app, or email us and we will help.
- Email — unsubscribe from marketing email with one click; account-related emails (like password resets) are sent only as needed.
- Notifications — reminders and push notifications are controlled by you, in the app and in your device settings.
Depending on where you live, state privacy laws may give you formal rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information. We honor reasonable requests of that kind from any user, regardless of state — just email hello@credliapp.com. Credli is intended for users in the United States.
10.Age requirement
Credli is for adults. You must be 18 or older to create an account. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18, and never from children under 13. If we learn we have collected such information, we will delete it.
11.Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and notify you by email or in the app before the changes take effect. We will never quietly change what we do with your data.
